These little handmade salt and pepperpots are really lovely and unique. I make these from the bigger branches that I get whilst out sourcing my timber for my bowls. Sustainable and food safe they are a beatiful natural addition to any dining table. I use a nut based finishing oil on these, so please be careful if you have a nut allergy. Price is for the pair of them.

One of my favourite things to make just now are the bread/nut type bowls. They are made from Silver Birch that has grown locally to us and i process them from start to finish. I really love the soft matt natural finish to these. They have a nice rustic scandinavian feel to them as well. The finish is done with pure tung oil, which comes from the tung nut. So please be cautious if you have a nut allergy.

Handmade Ash board cut from Ash that was felled on an East Lothian estate and seasoned for over 5 yrs. The bowls were made by gluing a top layer of walnut to a block of Ash before lathe turning them to create the finished bowls. Both bowls and board have had multiple coats with a food safe finish but may not be suitable for anyone with a nut allergy. The bowls are not perfectly identical….but that’s the beauty of life.

Hand thrown, beautiful serving dish glazed in a stunning Blue Hydrangea Glaze with Opal Lustre rim. The rim is gently waved to give this dish a beautiful soft finish. With a drip effect which adds an exciting dimension.
Can be used as a serving dish or fruit bowl or just to simply be admired.
